Best Practices for Virtual College Fairs

We are living through a unique time together. When preparing for meetings with students in a virtual environment, whether that be at our virtual fair or elsewhere, some common sense practices should be applied.

First, plan to record all video conferences. You can usually find this setting in your virtual meeting software account page. Recording these meetings will protect you and the student from any harmful accusations that might later arise.

Since the virtual world is evolving quickly due to the COVID-19 crisis, please check back here to find updates on best practices as we adopt them. For now, we recommend reading the following articles and consulting with your university admission and IT departments on creating your own best practices to protect the security and privacy of students and college professionals alike.
